Elpis Israel means the 'Hope of Israel'. The title of this book thus signifies the hope of all true Christians. This hope is founded upon the Old Testament writings, the promises God made to the Jewish fathers and the revealing of His purpose with creation. The Gospel message culminates in the ultimate fulfillment of God's purpose through Jesus Christ.
Elpis Israel was first written around 150yrs ago and covers many principle Bible teachings. The language may sound a little archaic to the modern ear and some of the discussions on prophecy may appear outdated.
